A. Armonaitė invites ADM representatives to Lithuania during her visit to the USA

Minister of the Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė met with Vikram Luthar, Vice President of Archer Daniels Midland (ADM), a multinational food processing and commodity trading corporation, during her visit to the USA. During the meeting, the Minister presented Lithuania's investment environment and invited  to visit Lithuania.  

"ADM is already present in more than twenty European and four African countries. The corporation is currently looking for new investment locations in Central and Eastern Europe where it could open a new shared services centre. Therefore, I have no doubt that Lithuania, with its highly skilled professionals and great business freedom, could be the right place for ADM's investments," said A. Armonaitė after the meeting.  

In 2022, ADM was ranked 38th on the Fortune 500 list of the largest corporations in the United States, with a profit of almost USD 102 billion. 

ADM is a US multinational corporation and a major processor of oilseeds, corn, wheat and other agricultural products. The company owns an extensive logistics network that stores and transports crops grown around the world. ADM also operates a food business and is a major producer of corn sweeteners, starch and ethanol.
