Marius Busilas appointed Vice-Minister of Economy

Today, Marius Busilas, former Director of the Energy Consumer Association, is starting his new responsibilities as Vice-Minister of Economy.

Prior to being appointed Vice-Minister of Economy, Marius Busilas was Director of VšĮ Populiariausia Prekė. Since 2008, he was CEO of the Association of the Lithuanian Trade Enterprises; in 2004–2008 he was Director of the Department of Economics and Finances of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists.

Marius Busilas also worked as Head of the Electricity Trading Division of AB Lietuvos Energija, Head of the Electricity Trading Division of AB  Rytų Skirstomieji Tinklai, project manager in UAB Stibelis and commerce manager in UAB Aibės Mažmena.

Marius Busilas has acquired a BA in Business Organisation and Management at Vytautas Magnus University and a MA in Firm Organisation and Management at Vytautas Magnus University.

Marius Busilas is a member of Aleksandras Stulginskis University Council and the Manager Business Club.
