Marius Skarupskas appointed Vice-Minister of Economy

Today, 31-year-old Marius Skarupskas, former Head of the Business Licensing and Authorisation Division of the Vilnius City Municipality Administration, takes up his duties as Vice-Minister of Economy.

The newly appointed Vice-Minister has previously worked and gained experience in financial planning, analysis and public administration.  For three years Marius Skarupskas has worked in the field of mass media; he has also delivered lectures at Vilnius University on change management.

Marius Skarupskas has acquired a BA and a MA in Communication and Information at the Faculty of Communication of Vilnius University.
