Minister Aušrinė Armonaitė‘s team comprising people with strong experience in business and politics

The political team of Minister of the Economy and Innovation Aušinė Armonaitė is joined
by Vice Ministers Jovita Neliupšienė and Vincas Jurgutis, Chancellor Iveta Paludnevičiūtė and Advisers Karolis Žemaitis and Birutė Rutkauskaitė. 

Jovita Neliupšienė has recently served as Chancellor of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. She has extensive diplomatic experience and served as Permanent Representative of the Republic of Lithuania to the European Union from 2015 to 2020; also, she worked as Chief Adviser to President Dalia Grybauskaitė on foreign policy issues from 2009 to 2015. Prior to that she acquired a PhD in Political Science and was lecturer at Vilnius University. Jovita Neliupšienė will be responsible for investments, exports and state-owned enterprises. 
Vincas Jurgutis is a member of the Vilnius City Municipality Council since 2015; he has gained valuable experience as member of boards of companies and has good knowledge in economics and finance, marketing and communication. Vincas Jurgutis is head for business development at a media planning agency. As Vice-Minister, he will be responsible for supporting businesses affected by COVID-19, tourism and public catering. 

Chancellor Iveta Paludnevičiūtė served as Adviser to Aušrinė Armonaitė in the previous term of the  Seimas and led the election staff of the Freedom Party. Her professional competences cover strategic planning, the drafting of legal acts and other documents, budget management and work coordination. 

Also, Karolis Žemaitis and Birutė Rutkauskaitė will join the advisers team to the Minister.

Karolis Žemaitis used to work as Head of the Business Unit at Go Vilnius and Project Manager at Kaunas University of Technology and public body Invest Lithuania. During his career, he has acquired valuable knowledge in economic competitiveness, business development and international cooperation. 

Birutė Rutkauskaitė is former LRT radio journalist with competences in communication, crisis management and image building. Recently, she’s been working as Adviser on Communication Issues to the management of an international company engaged in developing cyber security products.

Skaistė Barauskienė will serve Adviser on Communication Issues and Spokesperson for Minister of the Economy and Innovation Aušrinės Armonaitė.
