Vice-Minister and two Advisers to the Minister appointed

Today, Vice-Minister of Economy Lina Sabaitienė and Advisers to the Minister Sergejus Tichomirovas and Mindaugas Janulionis are taking on their duties. 

Before becoming Vice-Minister of Economy 42 years old Lina Sabaitienė was Adviser on EU Issues at the Association of Local Authorities in Lithuania (the ALAL), a representative of the ALAL in Brussels, Head of the Services and Product Contact Point, Chief Project Manager of public body Enterprise Lithuania, Deputy Economic Attaché at the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Lithuania to the European Union, Head of the Company Law Division of the Ministry of Economy. She also held other job positions. Lina Sabaitienė acquired her Bachelor degree in Business and Management and her Master degree in Social Sciences (specialisation in business law) from Vytautas Magnus University.    

The advertising of goods and services, the EU internal market policy and international issues will be entrusted to the responsibility of 33 years old Sergejus Tichomirovas.  He is former Adviser to the Minister of Justice with ten year experience in the field of journalism, communication and content marketing. Sergejus Tichomirovas acquired his Bachelor degree in History  from Vilnius University and his Master degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from the Institute of International Relations and Political Science of Vilnius University.  Also, he studied in Denmark and did practice in the US.

Mindaugas Janulionis, who is 28, is appointed Adviser to the Minister on Public Relations. He is former Adviser-Spokesman for Prime Minister Algirdas Butkevičius. Previously, Mindaugas Janulionis worked for the Press Office of the Government Office of the Republic of Lithuania and the Foreign and EU Affairs Division of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania; also, he did practice at the Embassy of the Republic of Lithuania to the United Kingdom in London.

Mindaugas Janulionis has been awarded the degree of Bachelor of Arts in International Political Studies from Middlesex University in and the degree of Master in International Relations from Queen Mary University of London. He also did the EU policy studies at Charles University in Prague.
