A. Armonaitė and Citco discuss the company's plans for Lithuania

During her visit to the US, the Minister of the Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė met with the  Citco group of companies’ (Citco) - providers of asset-servicing solutions to the global alternative investment industry, with operations in Lithuania - to discuss new trends in the financial sector, as well as the company's activities and plans.  

"Citco, which has been operating in our country for many years, is one of the success stories of the financial sector in Lithuania. The country's financial sector is growing steadily and we are a regional leader in financial technology. The supply of talent and the favourable regulatory environment in the financial sector make the country attractive to foreign investors," said Aušrinė Armonaitė, the Minister of the Economy and Innovation.

The meeting focused on Lithuania's dynamic financial sector, the country's flourishing fintech ecosystem and innovation in financial services. The Minister presented initiatives aimed at improving the investment climate and promoting the development of the entire financial sector.
