A. Armonaitė discusses business situation with heads of regional Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts

Minister of the Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė met with the heads of regional Lithuanian Chambers of Commerce, Industry and Crafts ("LCCIC ") to discuss the economic situation and opportunities for further cooperation, as well as to present business promotion measures.  

"We want to attract more investment to the regions and promote the activities of value-added manufacturing and service companies. That's why we regularly discuss with businesses how we can help them and create more opportunities for them to grow. By the end of this year, we will announce measures totalling almost €1 billion. The wide range of support measures on offer will allow businesses to invest in innovation, renewable energy and digitalisation of business, while building a stronger Lithuania," said Aušrinė Armonaitė, Minister of the Economy and Innovation. 

The meeting with the Minister was attended by Sigitas Gailiūnas, President of the LCCIC Association, and Giedrė Ražinskienė, Director General of LCCIC, Alfredas Jonuška, Head of CCIC Šiauliai, and Visvaldas Matkevičius, Head of CCIC Panevezys. 

To strengthen Lithuania's economy, the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation will announce measures totalling almost €1 billion by the end of 2023. Around €365 million is earmarked for business, innovation and investment, €320 million for the digitalisation of government and business, and €268 million for a greener economy.
