A. Armonaitė opens "Spiečius" co-working centre in Kaunas
On Friday, Minister of the Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė will open the Kaunas co-working centre "Spiečius", which will be the 14th co-working centre in the "Spiečius" network. Given the large number of students coming to Kaunas, the activities of this unique centre are aimed at developing the entrepreneurial skills of people under 30.
"We want to create conditions for young entrepreneurs to strengthen their individual and teamwork skills and take their first steps in business with more confidence. There are already 13 "Spiečius" in the country, which are joined by several hundred regional entrepreneurs every year, and I have no doubt that this centre in Kaunas will create even more opportunities for the growth of entrepreneurship in Lithuania," says Minister of the Economy and Innovation A. Armonaitė.
Kaunas "Spiečius" will focus on ensuring effective teamwork. Spiečius" will launch a new business idea testing programme "Come+Test+Grow", where participants will be able to test their business ideas and their market potential. It will also include the formation of business idea development teams and business incubator services.
It is expected that the teams that successfully complete the programme will be able to use the business development and export services provided by the Innovation Agency under the supervision of the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation, create start-ups, grow them in accelerators and contribute to a competitive future for Lithuania.
