This visit is an opportunity to strengthen Lithuania’s visibility and expand cooperation with the United States and other partners,” said E. Grikšas.
The Minister will participate in working sessions of the international event “Fostering the Future Together Global Coalition Summit,” where, together with representatives from more than 20 countries, technology companies, and organizations, he will discuss the application of artificial intelligence and digital technologies in education, digital literacy, internet safety, and innovation development.
During the visit, the Minister will meet with U.S. Congressman Chuck Edwards to discuss strengthening transatlantic cooperation, and meetings at the Department of Commerce are also planned.
The visit will also include participation in the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) international partners program, where opportunities for cooperation in the field of space technologies and Lithuania’s potential involvement in international projects will be discussed.
