EIMIN: search for commercial attachés in France and Ukraine

The Ministry of the Economy and Innovation (EIMIN) has launched competitions for commercial attachés in Ukraine and France. The deadline for applications is 5 May.

"Both France and Ukraine are strategic partners of Lithuania. France is Lithuania's second largest market for services exports: last year alone, we exported almost €2 billion worth of services to France. Ukraine is particularly important for Lithuania because it is defending Europe against an aggressor. In addition, Lithuania is already actively involved in reconstruction and reform projects in Ukraine, with significant financial support from EIMIN, and we encourage candidates who wish to continue the successful implementation of Lithuania's economic policy in these countries, which are of particular importance to us, to actively participate in the competition," said Marius Stasiukaitis, Vice-Minister of the Economy and Innovation.

The position of commercial attaché in France and Ukraine is open to persons with a Bachelor's degree in law, economics, business or political science, or a Bachelor's degree and at least two years' experience in international cooperation. Candidates for the post in France must have a C1 level of French and a B2 level of English and in Ukraine a C1 level of Russian and a B2 level of English.

Full eligibility criteria and other information can be found here.
