Search for a Lithuanian Space Industry Coordinator

The European Space Agency (ESA), together with the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation, is launching a call for applications for the position of Lithuanian Space Industry Coordinator.

"The rapidly developing global space industry offers many opportunities for our businesses. We are looking for responsible and ambitious candidates who will help the country's space technology community to seamlessly integrate into ESA programmes and other international value chains, so that we can nurture space entrepreneurs and invest in space technology to achieve our goal of growing the sector tenfold in the next few years," said Aušrinė Armonaitė, Minister of the Economy and Innovation.

The main responsibilities of the Coordinator are: to promote cooperation between the Lithuanian space sector and other companies operating in ESA Member States, to provide practical assistance and to share information on opportunities to participate in various project activities, trainings or other activities to promote the growth of Lithuania's space industry.

This coordinator would be the contact point between ESA and Lithuanian companies and institutions and would work closely with the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation and the LT SpaceHub at the Innovation Agency.

Applications can be submitted electronically via the ESA STAR platform until 19 September. For more information on how to register on the platform, click here
