The Team of the Minister Lukas Savickas Has Been Formed

The political team of the Minister Lukas Savickas has started its work at the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation. The team consists of professionals with experience in both the public sector and business.

The Vice-Minister Marius Stasiukaitis, previously the Head of Strategy at Invest Lithuania, will be responsible for investment attraction, innovation and export promotion.

The consolidation of the state IT sector will be overseen by the Vice-Minister Andžej Trachimovič, who previously ran an IT company. A. Trachimovič has worked in the public sector for more than a decade and was the head of the state cloud service project.

The Vice-Minister Darius Indriūnas will be responsible for the management and financial instruments of state-owned enterprises. D. Indriūnas has many years of management experience in the financial management of various companies and has been a member and chairman of the boards of several state-owned enterprises.

The Vice-Minister Agila Barzdienė will be responsible for small and medium-sized enterprises and the promotion of tourism. She will also coordinate public procurement policy and the European Union and international affairs. A. Barzdienė has headed the Office of the President since 2021, and previously worked at the Ministry of the Economy and Innovation and headed the Create Lithuania (Kurk Lietuvai) programme.

Eglė Radišauskienė has already taken the position of the Chancellor of the Ministry. E. Radišauskienė has many years of experience in the public sector, served as the Vice-Minister of Social Security and Labour and as the head of a business association. She will also be responsible for the EU investment policy and reducing the bureaucratic burden on business.

Silva Lengvinienė will act as an Advisor to the Minister. She will be responsible for the Silver Economy projects.

Fausta Roznytė, the Advisor to the Minister, will develop social innovation and social business development projects.

Karolis Vaitkevičius will be the Advisor to the Minister for Public Relations from 30 December 2024.

The Advisor to the Minister for Defence Industry and Large Enterprises will join the team next year.
Kotryna Butkienė, who was previously an advisor to Lukas Savickas in the Seimas, will help organise the work of the Minister and his team.

“I am pleased that we have managed to build a professional team with a wide range of professional experience. We will soon present a detailed work programme reflecting the five strategic directions for the next four years to the public and the business community,” said Lukas Savickas, the Minister of the Economy and Innovation.

The Minister of the Economy and Innovation has identified five strategic directions that his Ministry will work on: equal conditions for business, a shift in the economy towards higher value-added products and services, dialogue with business and lower bureaucratic burden on business, balanced regional development and an inclusive economy, and support for the tourism sector.
