Ms Armonaitė invited Samsung Display representatives to visit Lithuania
During her official visit to South Korea, Minister of the Economy and Innovation Aušrinė Armonaitė met with Cheollae Roh, Executive Vice President of Samsung Display, the global leader in the display market, and the company’s representatives and invited them to visit Lithuania. Lithuanian laser manufacturers such as Light Conversion, Ekspla, Litilit, QS Lasers, Standa, Altechna, Optoman, Workshop of Photonics and Akoneer, as well as representatives of the Centre for Sciences and Technology and the Lithuanian Laser Association, were also present.
“Lithuanian businesses already have experience of working with Samsung Display, the market leader in displays, in global chains. I am glad that Lithuanian companies with niche laser technologies and their international recognition are ready to further strengthen the partnership and their role in it,” says Ms Armonaitė.
Samsung Display’s revenues last year successfully reached €25.4 billion, maintaining its position as the market leader in displays.
