EIMIN signs agreement with Allive Europe for sustainable food production project in Kaunas district
Ministry of the Economy and Innovation (EIMIN) has signed a large-scale investment agreement with UAB Allive Europe. Under this agreement, a €21.6 million investment project will be implemented in the Kaunas district. The project plans to create 34 new jobs and expand and modernise the company's production capacity by integrating the entire supply chain, from ingredient cultivation to the creation of high-value products.
'This project is an excellent example of how local resources can be used to create high-value products. We are delighted to see growing investor confidence in our country as an attractive location for innovative food technology projects. Such investments strengthen industry and create sustainable economic value in the regions," said Lukas Savickas, the Minister of the Economy and Innovation.
Allive Europe intends to expand its production activities and implement innovative, sustainable solutions to ensure the highest food quality and safety standards. Once implemented, the project will see products such as granola and various bars manufactured in Lithuania using locally grown and processed hemp seed ingredients.
Under the signed large investment project agreements, it is currently planned to attract € 1.64 billion in investments and create around 4,900 jobs in Lithuania.
This large-scale investment agreement enables investors to benefit from income tax relief, thereby encouraging larger and more advanced investment decisions in Lithuania.
